Pointe Shoe Fitting

All individual pointe shoe fittings at JDB are free of charge.

Fitting duration: 45–50 minutes

Please book your appointment at least 2 weeks before your first pointe class

This allows enough time to order your shoes if needed

You may be required to return once your shoes arrive to ensure a proper fit

We strongly recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance AND before your current shoes are dead.

Our goal is to ensure you leave with the correct shoes, not empty-handed

Bring your old pointe shoes and padding

Avoid large pants or long skirts — tights are ideal

If you need an exact replacement of your current shoes:

Email Jackie at least 2 weeks in advance to confirm stock availability

Some styles may take up to 4 weeks to arrive

Shipping is available

A refitting is not required for replacements unless you are experiencing issues

Please mention replacement details on the booking form

We do not carry pointe shoes smaller than size 3.5

Pointe shoes are typically 1 to 2½ sizes smaller than street shoe size

Sizes below 3.5 require a special order and may take 2–4 weeks to arrive

$25 fee per dancer

Maximum 4 dancers per group

One fitting is conducted at a time

Each fitting may take up to 1 hour

Group fittings require an appointment via email
